As usual I couldn’t
come up with the idea of this blog. What I was doing while I was thinking? I
was just killing time. I played iPad. Shame on me, but sometimes I just want to
have a rest, doing nothing and thinking about nothing. Stupid games and music meet
my wishes. So, I decided to write about my favorite applications for Apple
products.
1. Home Room.
This App. helps me to organize my timetable of lessons. It can also be used as
a diary, where home tasks can be taken down.
2. Metro. It really
helps me not to be late for important events and just be punctual.
3. Музыка ВК. With the
help of this app. I can download music and listen to it without connection to
Internet. Songs are played from this app., unfortunately, they don’t go to
usual player. Anyway, it is very convenient because I don’t need to download
music through iTunes.
4. Paper 53. It
is a beautifully made app. which I use to draw something. In paid version there
are interesting brushes, inspiring to draw.
5. iZip. It is helpful when you need to
open some .Zip or .Rar files.
6. Shazam. Sometimes when you hear some
song and you like it, it is challenging to find it. This app. solves this
problem. You just have a connection to Internet, push the button and the song
will be found.
7. Subway Surf. It is a stupid game
where you run trough obstacles, collecting coins. It is my lovely game now. I
try to play it not more than 10 minutes a day because it is just waste of time.
8. ParkingFrenzy. Exciting game for
some time. Also helps to kill time on dull lectures(there are not a lot of
them, fortunately)
9. Merriam-Webster Dictionary. It is
necessary to use an English dictionary doing our tusks in English. This app. is
really convenient. There are different meanings of words and examples of their usage.
Moreover, there is an option to listen to pronunciation.
10. HeartsFree, Durak, NineCardGame. These
are my lovely card games.
It isn’t a full list of my applications and
games but these ones are which I want to share with you. Maybe some of the will
be useful for you too…
Now I have a small depression, because soon we
will celebrate New Year and have big holidays, lasting 21 days. But I have no
plans(( That is why I’m sad. I want to spend this time brightly. I hope that I will
invent something.
Thanks for the suggestions about useful apps! Shazam is really the only one that I'm familiar with. It's amazing how well it works! The games I play most often on my iPad are Words with Friends and Scramble. They're both word games that you can play with your Facebook friends. They'd both be good English practice if you want to try them!

Olya, I should say that all the apps you suggest trying are really useful! I did not know about Shazam before, but now, as I downloaded it, I find it extremely useful and convenient, as I often hear nice songs and get upset later when I fail to find them. This app solves my problems.
ReplyDeleteAlso I really like the Parking app and different card games. As for the Subway Surf (I know this is your favourite one), I prefer Temple Run, which is a similar game.
Finally, the song you attach is marvelous! :) It has cheered me up this night!
