Hi,
everyone! Thank you, David, for such extraordinary idea to
write blog posts. I’m sure that it will be really a pleasure for me to share my
thoughts with my class and You.
This was a small
introduction and now I want to write some words about myself. As a formality, I
would say that my name is Olga. But to
be honest, I prefer when someone calls me just Ol’ya. I’ve been living in Moscow
since my birth. I love this city just because it’s my birthplace. It goes
without saying that plenty of possibilities are given to us there. However, I constantly
become very tired of this city and dream to live in a calm and comfortable
place. But this will be in about twenty years. Now I’m young and want to take
from this wonderful years as much as possible in order not to regret that time
has passed so rapidly.

I can say that
I’m a rather active person. If I stay home someday, I feel lonely. It’s necessary
for me to meet my friends, to attend some occasions or just go somewhere or do
something exciting. Of course, sometimes I have to relax , but, anyway, I try not
to waste time. As for free time, I’m fond of reading, playing volleyball,
roller skating and handmade. I have made a lot of interesting things by myself
and presented them to my parents or friends. Apart from this, I keen on
dancing. Unfortunately, while I was preparing for different competitions in
economics and exams I had to stop attending my dancing classes. Now I want to
keep fit and return my shape. That’s why today was my first lesson in HSE
dancing club. I has enjoyed it very much though I’ve got very tired. I also like
playing billiards, poker and horse-riding.
I hope to
improve my speaking English because it’s a bit embarrassing for me. I
want to feel free and confident in discussions. Additionally, I hope that these
lessons will be interesting and maybe warm. I realize that I study in wonderful place. I
can already say that I’m proud of being HSE and NES student.
Thanks for introducing yourself, Olga (Ol'ya). I'm impressed with the variety of hobbies that you have. You sound very busy!
ReplyDeleteI assume that the two pictures near the bottom of your post are of things that you made yourself. It looks like they would both be difficult to make. I'm impressed!
I hope that this course helps you accomplish your goal of being able to participate freely and confidently in discussions. We'll definitely have plenty of discussions in the next semester, so please take every opportunity you can to jump in and share your ideas.
Ol’ya, what kind of dancing do you meet in HSE Cultural centre? I attend this club too and glad to hear you do so :)
ReplyDeleteRoman, I attend hip- hop classes. And you? Maybe later I will chande
